Nishitha Wanigasuriya is a Sri Lankan artist whose works are deeply inspired by the beauty of nature, contemporary events, and sociopolitical issues. With a unique blend of surrealism and a distinctive pen style he calls "tattoo surrealism," Nishitha creates captivating pieces that resonate with viewers, he also is keen on pencil drawings and digital drawings. Known for his love of wildlife and the female form, Nishitha has successfully showcased his art through two exhibitions. Notably, his first exhibition was a pioneering venture in Sri Lanka, focusing exclusively on pet portraits.
Secondly a surreal art exhibition which is called "tangled " and was focusing on society and contemporary events in Srilanka. Currently, he is working on a new project that delves into the complex issue of human-elephant conflict. Beyond his artistic pursuits, Nishitha contributes to the art community as a lecturer and has also worked in the gaming industry as an art director and junior artist. His versatile experience and passion for art make him a prominent figure in the Sri Lankan art scene.
