Tharuka Peiris is an artist from Sri Lanka who always liked to draw and paint even from her childhood. She showed great talent in drawing from an early age, which was inspired by her parents. She is graduated with a Second Class Upper Division (Honours) degree in art at University of Visual and Performing Arts in Sri Lanka.
She has won many awards and certificated by participating many art competitions at her school and from all island competitions. Three of her art exhibitions also have been held at the JDA Perera Art Gallery, Colombo 07.
Although she is currently working in softlogic marketing department, her love for art has not diminished at all.
