This painting is quite thought provoking and gives a strong message. It speaks of an innocent victim convicted of murder waiting to be sent to the gallows. The frame he holds in the hands is one to be comprehended. Those without ears cannot hear, those without eyes cannot see, those without a mouth cannot speak and those without anything can neither see, hear nor speak. The crooked justice system will cloud the voice, eyes and the ears of those in judgment leaving the innocent to face the consequences…when will this change? The power lies within ourselves.
