I love the sea in all weathers. Big round pebbles on the beach, and the sound of the waves that set the stones in motion...I am attracted by the round shapes of the stones and the play of light and shadow. Especially the narrow landscape format, which follows the horizon, but also the reduction to greyscales and the small picture detail create a calm, meditative, atmospheric picture of the sea.
