Cubist Girls Series The creator started this series in 2010 as a tribute his mother, the day she passed away and he says he will continue the series until his last breathe. The series has started with versions of sad women like Picasso's, with grotesque features and aggressive looks, but once he read his mother's diary, the characteristics of them became very strong, confident and turned them into beautiful women. As the creator explains, in each painting there are very personal symbols but generally the ornament they wear in their hair is what defines what each character is about. 'Cubist Girls' is a vibrant series of paintings by Ricardo Maya, to celebrate the motherhood and the universal language of their enormous love She's like a Red Rose, which does not have the rush to bloom hurriedly.
