The low sun bathes the fabulous coastal landscape of the Balagne in a warm light...surrounded by mountains and sea, I walk along lonely coastal paths...and try to capture a little of this magical atmosphere in this picture. The rather fleeting brushwork of an impressionist style of painting solidifies here into clearly contoured brushstrokes. The result is a semi-abstract representation of one of my favourite motifs: mountains and sea!
