Born out of love for Corsica and the longing to be there again...on the coastal hiking paths that lead through an earthly paradise. The oil colors shine almost out of themselves and remind us of the wonderful light on the "Ile de la beauté. Following the principle of tonal separation, I dissected the colors and applied them to the canvas in contoured brushstrokes. In this way, the fleeting impressionistic application of color solidifies and gives this semi-abstract painting a unique expression.
