Although she discovered that painting was not her forte at a tender age, Chamarie’s love for the subject has followed her well into her adult years.
Hailing from her alma mater Methodist College, Colombo she has obtained a Professional Qualification in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing UK. This experience has allowed her to appreciate and understand the various aspects of customer service and the fundamentals of marketing.
Watching her well reputed grand-uncle practice criminal law as a child growing up, the Chamarie was quickly enamored by his thrilling cases driving her to receive her Attorney at Law qualification. However, finding court work and litigation not to her liking, she decided to join a leading Business Process Management company where she gained a wealth of expertise in legal process outsourcing doing legal work for UK law firms.
As the years gone by, the tides have changed and Chamarie has since moved onto a far more “great” and “challenging” role in Human Resources. But her most rewarding experience to date is being the mother of the energetic and animated four-year-old Jhevaan, who continues to make her see the creative side of life with his endless expressions and childlike wonderment and their relationship could even said to be …her greatest work of art …to date.
