Dammith Krishantha is a Sri Lankan state award winning artist hailing from the central hill country. He is a self taught creator who is a skilled artist as well as a sculptor who has the capacity to combine old and modern styles together in order to create amazing pieces of art. He is a long term artist who has been updating his skills as the years went on and he has developed a process in which his work is based on.
He has held multiple solo exhibitions at renowned locations such as the Colombo National Art Gallery. He can boast of a worldwide audience where his artworks have been sold around the world. Dammith uses love, music, happiness, meditation, connection between wild animals and people as his preferred themes for his work and he believes that anyone with a troubled mind will be able to find their peace from his work.
