Roshan Mendis

Roshan Mendis is a passionate visual artist and a proud second-generation painter, inspired by his father who is also an accomplished artist. Continuing his family's artistic legacy, Roshan has developed a distinctive style that reflects both tradition and contemporary expression.

Working primarily with acrylics, he is best known for his captivating landscape paintings, while also exploring abstract and modern themes. His work beautifully balances realism with creativity, offering viewers a unique perspective through his bold colors and thoughtful compositions.

Roshan has been an active participant in "Kala Pola", Sri Lanka's renowned annual open-air art fair, since 2020. He is also a regular exhibitor at the "Art and Jazz on the Street" event held monthly at the Fairway Hotel in Colombo, where he showcases his evolving collection of artworks to art enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Through his vibrant paintings, Roshan continues to make a mark in the Sri Lankan art scene, carrying forward his heritage while creating contemporary works that inspire and engage.
