W A Jayaratne

W. A. Jayaratne is a cartoonist, an art teacher, a retired school principal and an artist from Sri Lanka who had an illustrious career spanning more than three decades. He is a multiple award winning artist, who specializes in watercolor, acrylic and oil mediums and is fully capable in creating brilliant work on paper and canvas.

Jayaratne is a highly professional artist who has been recognized with the highest accolades a Sri Lankan artist can receive such as "Kalabhushana Award" and "Kolomthotamthotabhushana Award" given for his life's service to art industry.
