Treasured Possessions

It is another day at the village fair. This old parents have settled down at their spot to sell their harvest of ripe bananas. They know it is going to be a very long day, a bottle of water and empty pots stand behind them along with boxes of different sizes and color, generating curiosity to the spectator.

The mother is clad in a yellow jacket and a blue saree, not the perfect match but it is one of the few she owns. The father is clad in his comfortable sarong and white shirt, complementing his hair and beard. The both pose for the artist, their eyes filled with subtle joy hiding their worries for a moment.
